Along The (beauty) Way — Fall Edit

THE FALL EDIT

What I'm Loving Lately: a few things inspiring me, making life easier, and bringing a little beauty to my everyday.

Fall always makes me want to slow down. I cook more, I linger over my routines, and I pay closer attention to the small things that make a day feel good. Here are four favorites that have earned a permanent spot in my life this season.

01 | In my kitchen: a flaky finishing salt

I've found the best finishing salt, and it comes from the California coast. Dalkin & Co. Flake Salt. The flakes are delicate and crisp, a little goes a long way, and it makes just about everything taste better. Right now I'm sprinkling it on heirloom tomatoes with a drizzle of good olive oil. Simple, and so good.

02 | On my phone: an app for all those saved recipes

If your Instagram saves are full of recipes you'll "make someday," this one's for you. ReciMe turns saved recipes from Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest into something useful. You can import a recipe, adjust the servings, build a grocery list, and actually cook the thing. Props to my hubby for this find.

03 | In my routine: a clean deodorant that works

After a lot of trial and error, I finally found a clean deodorant that actually works. Nécessaire The Deodorant in Olibanum is aluminum-free and leaves no marks. The scent is subtle and warm. It's the one I buy again and again.

04 | A beauty secret: body oil for your hair

This is my favorite weekly ritual, and it's so easy. Once a week, I warm a teaspoon of NOURISH | body oil between my palms and massage it into my scalp. I work what's left through my ends, leave it on overnight, and shampoo as usual in the morning. My hair comes out incredibly soft and nourished.

The same blend of meadowfoam, borage and Abyssinian seed oils that leaves skin silky works beautifully on hair too. It's light, it absorbs fast, and that bright citrus scent makes it feel like a little luxury before bed.

How to do it:

1. Warm 1 teaspoon of NOURISH between your palms.

2. Massage it into your scalp for a minute or two.

3. Smooth the rest through your lengths and ends.

4. Sleep on it

5. Shampoo as usual in the morning.

Today's mantra

"I am open to receive all the good that life has to offer."

Thanks for being here along the way. I'd love to hear what you're loving lately, so come say hi on Instagram.

xo, Jyoti
